The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming, with lovely wooden parquet floors throughout. It created a warm and cozy atmosphere, which made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the common TV room, were beautifully furnished with stylish furniture. As a senior person, I also appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The location near the old town made it easy for me to explore and enjoy the historic sites.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the staff when it came to catering to the needs of senior guests. Some additional support or services specifically tailored towards older travelers would have made my vacation even better.

What I liked about this hostel is that it's clean, well-situated and easy to go the center. The breakfast was so-so, but the price of 4 euros is not suitable. Vana Toomas Restaurant in the old town provides a luxurious breakfast and you can get it for 3,5 euros, which I definitely recommend!
I usually don't write negative comments, this hostel is the one I must write about so others should know. First surprise I got when I arrive at this hostel is that I couldn't have the chance to pay by credit card, because they don't have the system for it, although booking information said that paying by credit card is possible. I had less money carried in my pocket. They managed somehow after 3 hours by bringing a credit card reading machine. Second thing, the hostel was too cold in the winter, because they said it was "old house" and heating system was not enough. My dormitory room was -10 degrees celsius. I thought that having a double blanket with my clothes and jacket might help and they didn'T. So I had to leave the hostel on next day.

The location of the hotel is perfect, with the main square and supermarket just a short walk away. The staff is friendly and the toilet/shower rooms are kept clean. The free coffee and tea and well-equipped kitchen are nice amenities.
The noise from outside could be a problem for those who need complete silence at night.

The room was nice
Some of the rooms are located in the house next to the hostel itself. I had such a room. When you come in the evening you have to go first to the reception and wait till the staff goes with you and opens you the door of that another house. They don't have enough copies of the front door keys. It may make you feel uncomfortable. It was cold in the shower-room.

OldHouse Hostel is a cosy and nice place to sleep. We stayed in a twin room, which was a little bit on the small side, but who needs space when there's such a beautiful city to explore! The shared bathrooms were kept clean very consistently. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good. Very good value for money and in the best location.
The computer is old and very slow.

I stayed at Oldhouse and was delighted with my experience. The communal areas were lovely, and I enjoyed the free tea and coffee. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Although the bathroom facilities were a little basic, I would definitely return. I highly recommend this hostel.

first of all, it is very cheap, so i do not need to worroy about the price. second, its location is perfect. i can only walk several miniutes to a bar , coffee etc. third, what made the hotel special is that you can cook by yourself in the kitchen. that will help you save a lot. i think, i will be there again.
mixed room is a little noisy, because there are diffent people from different places with different living habits.

Great value for money with charming apartments in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town. The apartment I stayed in had two balconies overlooking the bustling Town Hall Square, providing a vibrant and picturesque view. The apartment was stylishly furnished and had all the necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen. The free WiFi was reliable and the common TV room was a nice touch for socializing with other guests.
